Push

Yesterday on Reformation Day we spent time learning about the reformers again. This time it hit me hard that after the Diet of Worms Martin Luther spent nine months in hiding. Nine months! "I cannot and I will not recant anything for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe." Luther's statement etched in time stands today. He stood for what he believed in despite what the Catholic Church threatened his life with. It was after this stand for religious freedom that he was kidnapped for his own safety by Prince Frederick the Wise. While in a dank, remote castle, Martin Luther translated the New Testament to German from ancient Greek, so that everyone could understand what the Bible teaches.

Nine Months....

At the beginning of 2024 Lou Engle prophesied a rising of women that would change the political landscape of this country. He encouraged a nine month fast leading up to the Day of Atonement which was October 11th and 12th. This day would also be the convergence of "A Million Women" in DC, where hundreds of thousands gathered and many more remotely from 50 different countries. It was nine of months of intentional fasting and prayer by women and men alike for our nation and the world.

For the last few days God has been repeating the word "push" to me. Today is November 1st. I will confess that while I am thankful for the words of the Lord given by many and the signs and wonders God continues to do up until this point, I am dull of hearing. Many have been believing and battling for longer than 9 months! Yet, the scripture rings true that hope deferred makes a heart sick. It is time to SEE our prayers manifest and our soul be satisfied! The birthing is NOW although many are too tired to push through. Even I did not want to write this post. Why does it matter? We've prayed long enough.

When I saw that Martin Luther had been shut up in a castle for nine months after standing for God, the Lord underscored the importance of this last "push". Everyone has influence in their sphere of life and I encourage you to do whatever you can for our nation, for our children, and for our bank accounts for that matter in these last couple days leading up to November 5th. NINE MONTHS of praying, fasting and praying and fasting. Now it is time for the last push. Watch as God delivers our nation in Biblical proportions. We are birthing something new, supernatural, and unprcedented. It is 'go time'.
