The Dew

In Judges 7, Gideon's delivering power came from small miracles in the dew. It happened twice, each time a different way. When God, or the Angel, showed Gideon His Word to be true Gideon made a succession of difficult concessions from the Lord. Gideon's faith was cemented in the dew that enabled him to live up to his name as a 'mighty man of valor'.

Psalm 110 was brought to my attention recently by Justin Paul Abraham. In verse 3AMP it describes the dawn as the womb and young men as the dew. Each morning God has new dreams He is releasing and His declaration is that men will birth these dreams into the earth. People will offer themselves willingly to participate in battle! This is exactly what happened with Gideon's 300 men.

God's Words He spoke to Gideon were not without repentance. God did not change His mind during the course of battle about Israel's deliverance nor Gideon as the 'champion deliverer'. Psalm 110:4 reiterates that God will not change His mind.

It's in the morning hours, during the 4th watch when the dew is on the ground that the dreams, or blueprints, of God are poured out from on high. The sunrise is represented by new beginnings [The Divinity Code, PG531]. Just as His mercies never fail, so will the sun never fail to rise. It will keep coming up no matter where you run to. May His plans never leave our thoughts as we grab hold of them and manifest them in the earth. God desires a people who will decree and declare (legislate from the courts of Heaven) His good plans. Love was given and it is fully recompensed with pleasure to give us His Kingdom, the inheritance of the saints.

Just as Gideon received the faith impartation in the dew [Judges 6:36] to deliver a nation, may you too receive abundantly more at the coming sunrises! God's plans are being poured out each morning hoping to find faith on the earth. Will you choose this day to believe His Word? "The Lord has sworn (an oath) and will not change His mind" [Psalm 110:4].

"My teaching, let it fall like a gentle rain,

my words arrive like a morning dew,

Like a sprinkling rain on new grass,

like spring showers on the garden.

For it's God's Name I'm preaching-

respond to the greatness of our God!"

Deuteronomy 32:2 MSG
